If you have been invited to participate in our survey and enter the prize draw, you agree to the Terms & Conditions of entry below.
Entry Restrictions
The prize draw is only open to Interior Designers, Architects or FF&E Specifiers located in the UK & EU with responsibility for purchasing FF&E goods for their business. Entries that don’t meet this criteria will not be eligible & will not be entered into the prize draw.
How to Enter
If invited to participate, you will be sent a link to complete the survey. As a condition of entry we ask you to subscribe to our mailing list. Only respondents who tick the subscribe box will be entered into the prize draw. You can request to be invited to participate by emailing marketing@northern-lights.co.uk with title ‘Request to participate in prize draw.’ Please include your name, name of your business and job title.
Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to the prize draw terms and conditions outlined below.
1. The prize draw is being run by Northern Lights.
Eligibility to enter
2. The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age and employed within the following industries: Interior Design, Architecture, FF&E Procurement. Entrants must reside in the UK or European Union.
3. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
4. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted. Multiple entries from individuals within the same company is permitted.
5. How to enter. The prize draw is free to enter. You will be sent a link to complete a short survey online. You must tick the sign up box to be entered into the prize draw. Duplicate entries will not be counted.
6. The prize draw will end when we have received 60 responses.
7. Northern Lights will not accept responsibility if the contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
The Prize
8. One winner will be selected and the winner will be drawn at random. The prize will be £250 GBP (or the equivalent in Euros based on the exchange rate at point of transaction) and will be paid via Bank Transfer. The Carbon table lamp in matt black will be arranged to be delivered to the address of your choosing. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or payment alternatives will be offered. The prize can be exchanged for goods supplied by Northern Lights if agreed by both parties in writing.
9. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
10. The decision of Northern Lights regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding.
Winner announcement
11. The winner will be notified within fourteen days after the closing date of 15th January 2025 or when we have received 60 responses - whichever comes first. The winner will be notified via the email provided during the survey.
12. Northern Lights will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
13. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second contact attempt, they will lose their right to the prize, and Northern Lights reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner. Receipt of the Prize
14. We endeavour to arrange delivery of the table lamp and Bank Transfer of the prize within 14 days of receiving the winner’s bank details. However, please allow up to 30 days for the transaction to go through.
Data Protection and Publicity
15. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Northern Lights for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
16. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at marketing@northern-lights.co.uk
17. The winner agrees to the release of their first name and place of work to any other prize draw participants if requested via Northern Lights.
18. An announcement of the winners first name and place of work will be made via Northern Lights’ Instagram and/or Linkedin account if Northern Lights so choses.
19. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Northern Lights’ Privacy Notice. Limitation of Liability
20. Northern Lights does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Northern Lights does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
21. Northern Lights does not provide any form of practical or installation support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to the product are that of the prize winner.
General
22. Northern Lights reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
23. The prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
