Bespoke Chandeliers and Bespoke Table Lights
Ara Design has created an interior that is grand yet inviting and personal. The fact it is quite hard to find already makes it feel quite luxurious. The original features such as stained glass domes and mosaic floor tiles have been skilfully restored and enhanced, while the floating central bar and plush seating add distinctive glamour and comfort.

Set in a Grade Two listed room, the 1901 Restaurant and Wine Lounge is discretely attached to the Andaz Hotel on Liverpool Street. Although the interior is far from discrete, high vaulted ceilings, elegant patterns, massive archways and an array of bespoke lighting greet visitors immediately upon entering.
Working from ara Designs brief, Northern Lights developed two large bespoke chandeliers for both the bar and private dining areas. At 2m in diameter, the sweeping bespoke chandeliers complement the ornamental vaulted ceiling and hold their own in such a grand setting. A bespoke lighting solution was needed to match the scale of the surroundings. The rustic burnished bronze finish was also an effort to blend in with its grade two listed surroundings. It does, however, contrast sharply with the lacquered glass bar top and the velvet seating, itself an elegant mixture of grey, blue and mustard yellow.
The luxury lighting didn't just include the large bespoke chandeliers. Being a UK lighting manufacturer, Northern Lights was also able to produce a small batch of custom brass table lights, that matched other fixtures already in place, and supply them with the other bespoke lighting elements.
