The extravagant property is named after Viscountess Nancy Astor, the first female MP to gain a seat in the House of Commons in 1919, commonly called the 'first lady' of British politics. In creating the apartment's aesthetic, interior design firm Goddard Littlefair drew from the glamour and tradition associated with Astor, a socialite-turned-politician.

The property contains the right amounts of British sensibility and aristocratic grandeur, making this one of the most sought-after residences in the capital.

In the reception room, two of our handcrafted 'daisy' chandeliers suspend from the high ceilings above the dining table and reception area. The 1.5-metre-wide romantic-style fixtures comprise an antique oxidised brass stem with accompanying s-shaped tubed arms, electric candles and leaf-decorated bobeches. The soldered silver leaves and daises have been made with full-cut crystal almonds.

In the main bedroom, a trilogy of two-layer crystal chandeliers brings decadent luminance to the space. One of the chandeliers has been suspended above the bed, and the subsequent two hang on either side of the walk-in wardrobe. A diffusing opal acrylic base is enclosed by two tiers of rectangular crystals bordered by hand-finished light brass rings and suspended by a matching chain-link.

The hallway and kitchen feature simple pendants, designed to elevate the space without dominating.  Glass and hand finished metal detailing work in harmony to gently illuminate the spaces.

Suspended above the spiral staircase is our 3-metre-tall multi-drop pendant. The 5-light structure incorporates reeded glass globes encompassed by light brass rings and suspended by a matching chain-link at differing heights.
