Having the skills and machinery to work with a multitude of materials, we were called on by the award-winning Studio Two to craft artisan lighting for this unique Edinburgh venue. 

Our design team and artisans worked in unison, devising optimal solutions to ensure the lighting delivered tactility and visual awe as part of the immersive scheme.

BAR

Dreamscape cloud mesh ceiling feature

The unique statement ceiling light was individually crafted to create a fluid and natural cloud-like form to fill the purpose-built ceiling void.

The key challenge was to retain fluidity, requiring our artisans’ expertise in shaping and affixing each mesh panel to create an uninterrupted form that evokes emotional response. 

Track spotlights on either side of the ceiling alcove provide ambient light without disrupting the artistic, immersive design.

Fixed table lamps

On the bar itself, fixed brass table lamps - reminiscent of vintage circus footlights - were treated with two unique finishes, applied by hand to achieve the desired look.

DINING

Rainbow wall

Perhaps one of our most colourful bespoke pieces yet, the feature wall light brings a pastel rainbow of light to diners. 

Powder coat colours are accented with brass in the oval shaped metal layers.  LED strip lighting to each layer adds depth and tactility to create an interplay between light, colour and shadow.

Mirror dome ceiling

A steel base and tube houses four hidden lights, encased with an acrylic dome with a metallised mirror finish. 

The design creates a warm pool of light on the ceiling whilst gently reflecting the surrounding wall art for soft, intimate dining.
