Stevie CampbellThe new corporate identity takes its inspiration from the six-legged dragonfly, with interiors incorporating gothic arching, stained glass, and earthy tones paired with the company’s signature pistachio colour.
The restaurant's interior, influenced by the city’s medieval and Victorian Gothic architecture, combines modern elements with decadent gold accents. The joinery features gothic arched details and stained-glass screening, while rich-toned timbers and antique brass hardware enhance the decor.
Huge industrial ring pendants finished in blackened steel suspend from the ceilings in different arrangements, creating a layered illusion from different viewpoints within the restaurant. Old English brass light finish features on the rim’s spotlights, with each ring displaying different arrangements and quantities. The same finish is utilised on the long stem pendants, with three clear glass globes extending upwards from curved arms offering a sense of decadence. Faux alabaster wall lights are topped with contrasting enamel green powder coated domes, perfectly positioned to create additional layers of light in darker corners of the space.
The bespoke restaurant lighting we crafted for this project is complemented by items from our Signature Collection. Large Colven table lamps with organic alabaster veining are dotted around the venue, tying in with the wall light designs. Our Heslop floor lamp with old English brass body and marble disc base feature soft tailored shades with a cloche-inspired design in pearl linen fabric.
