For the latest addition to the Locke hotel portfolio, Le Jardin de Verre, Paris, Northern Lights was entrusted with crafting a collection of bespoke lighting designs that seamlessly integrate into the richly layered interiors envisioned by Fettle & Edyn’s in-house team.

A Statement in Softness

Suspended in dynamic arrangements across the bar and public spaces, oversized 80cm-wide fabric pendants bring warmth and playfulness to the design. These statement pieces feature gathered fabric at the tapered ends and smooth central sections, adding a gentle, organic aesthetic that enhances the relaxed atmosphere. The combination of orange and white tones creates a striking yet inviting contrast, setting the mood and inviting guests to unwind throughout the public spaces.

Bohemian Opulence

In the garden and presidential suites, our bespoke multi-tier chandeliers introduce a soft, bohemian aesthetic. These exquisite designs feature three and six tiers, with up to 408 individual tassels affixed to different diameter rings, all powder-coated in black for a striking contrast. The cascading tassels bring movement and tactility, complementing the opulent yet relaxed feel of these luxurious spaces.

Co-Working Lounge

Balancing elegance with functionality, the co-working lounge is illuminated by large ring pendants finished in black powder coat, each adorned with ten opal glass globes. These pendants diffuse light softly, fostering a comfortable and inviting environment that encourages productivity while maintaining the warmth and intimacy of the space.

Transparent Beauty: Tiered Restaurant Pendants

At the heart of the atrium restaurant, stunning three-tier pendants crafted by our artisans complement the abundant natural light filtering through the dramatic glass ceiling. Created from large steel rings finished in powder coat black, these luminaires hold over 130 gracefully curved Perspex panels in a pale amber-brown hue. Each panel supports an individual golfball lamp, creating a striking interplay of light and transparency that enhances the architectural grandeur of the space.

Framing the Experience

Enhancing the immersive interiors of the restaurant, three-tier fabric wall lights gently frame the archways, creating a rhythmic visual experience as guests move through the space. Topped with diffusers, these pieces emit a soft, ambient glow that complements the venue’s layered aesthetic.
