Northern lights were delighted to work with Goddard Littlefair on the prestigious Lansdowne Place development. Goddard Littlefair was tasked with the interior design of the marketing suite and 215-apartment luxury residential development for client Chartered Land in the prestigious Ballsbridge area of Dublin.

The interior concept references nearby Georgian and Victorian properties in terms of proportions, bespoke lighting and finishes. It is luxurious and contemporary in feel, with granite balconies, sturdy walnut units, marble and natural stone bathrooms. It also boasts the most exclusive kitchens ever offered in the Irish residential apartment sector.

We worked on many bespoke designs in the marketing suites and penthouses, from beautifully detailed solid marble bespoke bedside lights with accents of bronze to bespoke lights in the bathroom made from alabaster and with a strong Art Deco influence.

As a leading UK lighting manufacturer, all of the bespoke chandeliers and custom ceiling pendants we realised, from Goddard Littlefair’s design inspirations, were crafted by our team of skilled artisans. All made in brass and finished in brushed, antique and bronze patinas – these perfectly complemented the stunning detailing of Goddard Littlefair’s scheme and the materials they sourced.

Matt Opal Glass also featured heavily for both custom ceiling and bespoke table lights - the versatility of this material allows a soft illumination when used in the bedrooms. Faceted geometric brass bases provided a contrast to the rich wood and stone materials that adorn the Art Deco-inspired apartments.

Brass metalwork is utilised throughout the bespoke lighting supplied, mainly due to the opulence and quality it brings. The popular material shows no sign of fading, partly because the array of custom finishes we offer is staggering. They can all be tweaked at our UK lighting manufacturing facility to offer something truly unique.
