Summary

Working with ara Design, we supplied a wide range of bespoke lighting for the project. In The Tel Aviv suite – the largest of all suites at 126 sq. m - silk cream shades were used throughout the living and bedroom areas to soften the light and create warmth. The two-tier metal mesh pendant over the dining table drew inspiration from the long sandy beach in Tel Aviv with the subtle shimmering effect creating movement while diffusing the light. The bathroom features a bespoke table lamp incorporating an etched glass base. The Royal Suites continue the natural feel. The silk cream shade on the bespoke floor lamp is offset by the walnut finish of the wooden lamp base. The bedside table lamps use an elegant ceramic curved base in a high-gloss black finish, which provides a bold contrast to the pastel colour palette.

Bespoke Lighting for All Suites

When InterContinental decided to build a five-star hotel at the South end of Tel Aviv’s beachfront, it was a brave move to be so far away from the famous northern side where most of the other luxury hotels are located. However, 15 years later it proved to be a smart choice as the area is now the epicentre of trendiness. It aims to deliver an experience that transcends the touristy and the known to go beyond the obvious.
