One Park Drive - Bay
One Park Drive is one of London’s most exciting and eagerly-awaited developments; an iconic new 58-storey residential building by international architects Herzog & de Meuron in Canary Wharf’s New District.
One Park Drive - Bay
All Bespoke Apartment Lighting
The bedside pendants were fabricated using beautiful brass cones, as a UK lighting manufacturer, we painstakingly soldered together and finished with an oiled bronze patina. An opal glass shade, reflecting the brass form, provided the soft illumination of the fitting which is subtly diffused by a barrel-shaped free-blown glass. Suspended either side of the bed in clusters of three, they create a perfect accent within the room.
Goddard Littlefair has created the designs for two different areas of the three-section circular building, Cluster and Bay, with each typology comprised of studio, 1, 2 and 3-bed spaces. Northern Lights were invited by Goddard Littlefair to create the bespoke lighting for the Bay apartments and worked closely alongside them in realising their designs for the scheme.
The bespoke bedside lamps are a variation of our Marcade design. We adapted these into a custom tiered shape and finished them in bronze and carbonne – a rich stone effect created using polished steel. Simple linen shades completed the lamp and harmonised with the fabrics and textures in the rest of the scheme.
The bespoke floor lamp was designed with an integral tabletop and fabricated from steel with brass accents. Yet another benefit of being a UK lighting manufacturer is our ability to offer bespoke options like this, in small batches. A striking linear silhouette, strengthened by decorative cross struts to the tabletop, this bespoke light designed by Goddard Littlefair is incredibly versatile and is used in several of their projects.
These bespoke lights illustrate the breadth of our UK lighting manufacturing abilities and the skill of our in-house design team. This project is another excellent example of us supporting award-winning interior design practices such as Goddard Littlefair to assist in realising their visions.
