Faern Arosa Altein

Standing on a hillside within the beautiful national park resort of Arosa, the hotel is the brainchild of Faern Resorts, a collection of resorts in the Swiss Alps dedicated to creating high-altitude living wellness destinations, with innovative food and beverage concepts in some of the most loved Swiss mountain resorts. Award-winning London-based design studio Run for the Hills restored the entrance lobby, concierge desk and breakfast buffet and designed all its bars, restaurants, common areas and breakout spaces. Northern Lights has enjoyed partnerships with Run for the Hills in recent years, having collaborated on the fit-out of Bath's premier cinema destination, Tivoli.

Our Delaunay chandeliers and Brockwell floor lamps have been perfectly paired in the Parlour bar. The unique design of our Delaunay chandelier gives this fixture an iconic status in our ever-growing catalogue of lighting solutions. Mould-blown clear glass prisms cascade vertically in tiers to create a stunning effect as light diffuses. The Antique finish effect ring is suspended by chain links, giving this contemporary chandelier a classic finish. The Brockwell floor lamp is crafted in brass with offset soldered arms and finished in our light antique patina with rich bronze highlights, presented on a luxuriously veined grey marble base.

Several of our Roker chandeliers have been styled in the 5th Floor Bar & Restaurant area to bring Deco-inspired elegance to the room. Taking influence from some of our other prestigious designs, our Roker chandelier benefits from a classic design that harmonises its Old English Brass body with delicate marble features. Six tubular arms are complete with hand-blown matt opal shades to add a perfect balance that complements the rest of this fantastic fixture. 

Our Genoa chandeliers have been staged in the bar area to contrast the stunning mountainous backdrop visible through the immense windows. Between seating booths, our bespoke aged brass library lights provide a calming aura to those sitting nearby. The statement chandeliers are finished in matt black with antique brass detailing and matt opal glass spheres. The stepped and curved arm details a reference to mid-century design influences.
