Northern Lights Wins Prestigious Projects in the Middle East

Northern Lights was awarded two prestigious contracts in the Middle East recently and reinforced its position as a leading decorative lighting supplier to the region.

Beating stiff competition, Northern Lights has been appointed as the decorative lighting supplier to the new headquarters for the Ministry of Interior Qatar located in Doha and the Grand Hyatt new hotel in Dubai. Both contracts cover the design, manufacture and delivery of a complex decorative lighting scheme ranging from bespoke statement chandeliers to table and floor lamps. These new contracts follow on the success of the high-profile project we completed last year for Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah.

Working closely with our local agent – Vann Furniture and Design - throughout the bidding process, Northern Lights demonstrated its ability to develop the creative lighting solutions necessary to meet the eclectic requirements of the clients whilst providing the best value within a demanding time frame.

Commenting on the projects, John Fleming, Director said: 'We are delighted to have been awarded these contracts. This reflects our clients' trust in our capability to successfully manage complex projects in the Middle East. Many of the products for these two projects are in production now and I am looking forward to the delivery later in the year.'
