Prize Draw Terms & Conditions 

By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions:

1. The prize draw is being run by Northern Lights Ltd, herein referred to as Northern Lights. 

Eligibility to enter 

2. The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age and employed within the following industries: Interior Design, Architecture, FF&E Procurement.  Entrants must reside in the UK or European Union. 

3. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any  prize you may win. 

4. A maximum of three entries per individual is permitted.  

5. How to enter:   

The prize draw is free to enter.  Following the Northern Lights’ Instagram profile and liking the prize draw post counts as one entry into the draw.  Signing up to the newsletter either via the Linkin.Bio page on Northern Lights’ Instagram profile, or via the dedicated newsletter sign up page Newsletter Sign Up | Northern Lights (northern-lights.co.uk) counts as two entries.  Duplicate entries will not be counted.  Please note that signing up to the newsletter via the footer on the website will not count as entry into the prize draw. 

6. The prize draw ends at midnight on 9th May 2023. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw. 

7. Northern Lights will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate. 

The Prize 

8. The prize will be one made-to-order Chaco table lamp in the colour specified by Northern Lights.  The winner will be drawn at random. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.  The prize is a made-to-order product and as such a return is only accepted if the product is inspected by Northern Lights and deemed faulty.  

9. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. 

10. The decision of Northern Lights regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding. 

Winner announcement 

11. The winner will be notified within two weeks after the closing date of 9 May 2023 via the email provided during subscription or via the Instagram account used to follow Northern Lights and like the Instagram post. 

12. Northern Lights will attempt to contact the winner by email and/or Instagram up to two times.  

13. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second contact attempt, they will lose their right to the prize, and Northern Lights reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner. 

Receipt of the Prize 

19. Please allow 30 days for delivery of the prize.  Made-to-order items can take up to 4 weeks to manufacture before they are ready for delivery to the recipient.  If this is the case, the recipient will be notified. 

Data Protection and Publicity 

20. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Northern Lights for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice. 

21. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at marketing@northern-lights.co.uk 

22. The winner agrees to the release of their first name and place of work to any other prize draw participants if requested via Northern Lights. 

23. An announcement of the winners first name and place of work will be made via Northern Lights’ Instagram account. 

24. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Northern Lights’ Privacy Notice. 

Limitation of Liability 

25. Northern Lights does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Northern Lights does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence. 

26. Northern Lights does not provide any form of practical or installation support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to the product are that of the prize winner. 

General 

27. Northern Lights reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. 

28. The prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
