Goddard Littlefair was tasked with creating a five-star hotel room for the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. It blurs the lines between hotel suite and luxury apartment, with the interconnected spaces of the Presidential Suite transitioning seamlessly.

The bespoke lighting needed to be unique. Like the rest of the interior design, the bespoke lighting takes inspiration from the modern forms and heritage of Manchester. The furnishings use a limited colour palette, based on the five colours used by L.S Lowry. These colour accents are visible in the main bedroom, where Northern Lights supplied amber glass table lights, which capture light from the floor to ceiling windows.
The angled drop on the living room feature fitting almost tricks the eye depending on the viewing angle.
Other features include the globe bedside lights, in a paler amber hue and a luxurious floor lamp with exposed supports, reminiscent of the Trinity Bridge visible from the bedroom window.
