Eye-catching, elegant and sophisticated, each pendant features a traditionally shaped metal cage containing a cylindrical silk shade. The antique bronze finish complements the eclectic interior of Chez Mal Bar and works in sync with the other bespoke finishes found in the scheme. The luxury lighting is finished off with a metallic inner shade, increasing the warmth given out and making the area even more welcoming.

Malmaison offers a haven of respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The entire hotel chain has recently gone through a complete makeover with a new interior that is luxurious, warm and comfortable. Northern lights were tasked by interior designers from Curious and hotel procurement consultant NJW Procurement Solutions, with developing a range of bespoke lighting solutions suitable for the hospitality industry. The bespoke lighting package included birdcage pendants and conduit ceiling lights.

More bespoke lighting combines geometric shapes and exposed decorative lamps. These bespoke conduit ceiling lights inject an industrial element into both the brasserie and conference room; this is softened from the bespoke brass finish that was hand-applied.
Commenting on the projects, Alex Chivers, FF&E Procurement and Supply Chain Consultant from NJW Procurement Solutions said: 'The bespoke lighting looks excellent in Malmaison Birmingham. Well designed and executed to give a real wow factor.'
