COYA Mykonos

From the moment of arrival, the rich textures of the hand-carved panels and screens and inside-outside dining experience welcome the guest to a journey designed to provide customers with a flavour of Latin America with roots to the Peruvian culture. 

Northern Lights were once again enticed by the opportunity to work with Sagrada on realising their brief for this stunning location. Our Aurelia chandeliers were again utilised in many of the dining spaces and areas. The flowing lines of Aurelia complement perfectly the elegant hard-carved furniture with attendant royal blue velvet accents. This warm ambient light is further enhanced by the tinted smoke glass balls, adding a subtle feeling of romance to the beautifully presented dishes and drinks. To make this bespoke lighting genuinely unique, an antique finish was developed by our creative team specifically to suit the interior scheme.

 
The bespoke chandelier lights are finished in a tarnished gold; a distressed dark umber finish applied to a satin brass base coat and finished with an eggshell lacquer. The modern yet painterly finish with different depths of tone and elements of bronze within the patina is designed to complement the rich golds on the other bespoke lighting, furniture and accessories within the scheme.

Bespoke brass table lamps with luxuriously fringed lampshades were also commissioned to adorn the bar areas. The shades were gold-lined to create additional warmth and reflect the light from the rich antique brass finish of the handcrafted lamps.
